So this one is going to be typed.... and very short.
So yesterday and today I haven't been feeling 100%.
Monday:
Monday I started my day normally with my mocha shake and got off to a good start. Had my veggies and protein bar for lunch and then messed up at around 3. So 3 o clock I was supposed to have my afternoon shake and because it was almost time for me to leave the office.... I didnt make it... which resulted in me being hungry on the way home... which resulted in me getting that burger I really wanted... which was DISGUSTING. It tasted like it had been dipped in salt... I guess this would be my body's way of saying.... BIIITTTCCCHHHH you cant eat that anymore!..... *Sigh*... my stomach also felt like shit afterwards and this morning.
Tuesday:
So today I knew I was gonna fall off and I kinda did it on purpose. Today was my last day at my current employer before I start my new job on Monday... so naturally me and my fav co-workers went to lunch at Applebee's. IT WAS BOMB! I got multigrain pasta, we all split a spinach and artichoke dip platter and I drank a diet coke (NO EMPTY CALORIES!!). I'm beginning to realize a lot of this has to do with managing what you eat. Even when I don't stick to this liquid and veggies diet, I'm not being ridiculous. So I didn't have my dinner or dessert shake and instead drank water. I feel good. I'm not too hungry. I'm having ridiculous cravings because that b*tch came to town for her few days this month... so I want EVERYTHING greasy but I'm trying really hard to fight the craving. It's really hard though. At this point, I just don't want to eat this late... Idk... I'm going to continue trying... Tomorrow is a new day and I have to stop beating myself up when I don't do perfectly. This is a lifestyle change and when you're used to eating f*cked up food all the time, well it's not easy to change those habits immediately. I do think I'm doing better... I feel better now that I'm not eating out 2-3 times a day. Even just having a protein shake for breakfast instead of McDonald's has made a significant change in my energy levels and I feel better throughout the day. I'm excited about this journey still and I'm going to continue to walk it day by day.
As always, thanks for rocking with me. Tomorrow should be video again!
